What’s Printies?
Printies is a new craft toy that allows kids to be the toy designer! Using an online design studio, you can select your shape and create your one-of-a-kind design. Then you can print your design on the front and back of Printies Fabric Sheets. These 100% cotton sheets have the character pre-sewn, so you don’t have to sew or cut. You fill your design with stuffing in the small opening at the bottom and seal it shut with a pair of shoes. Now you have a soft toy designed exactly how you like!

How do you design your Printies?
Every Printies Design Studio comes with a unique online code. This code unlocks the online design center for your Printies theme: Pets, Ocean or Jungle. In the online Design Studio, you can design with dozens of tools like paint brushes, stamps, patterns, or even type words onto your design. You can create from scratch or chose and customize from dozens of artwork created by professional illustrators. You can even add your photos into your design with our simple photo tool.

How do you make your design into a soft toy?
Printies Fabric Sheets work in any inkjet printer. Select the Printies sheet with the pre-sewn character that you’ve designed and print out your design on the front and back. After printing, tear along the perforated edges to pop out your design, which is already sewn together. Next, using the small opening in the bottom, stuff your design to make it soft and 3-D. Then you can seal it shut with a pair of shoes and decorate with stickers.

What age is Printies for?
Printies Design Studio packs are for boys and girls ages 6 and up.

Do I have to sew or iron my Printies?
No. Printies require no sewing, no cutting, no ironing for a truly mess free craft toy. The sheets are pre-sewn and perforated so you don’t even need a pair of scissors!

Does Printies work on Mac?
Yes. MyPrinties.com was designed for Mac and PC.

What comes inside each Printies Design Studio?

What do I need to for Printies?
Printies require an inkjet printer, a live Internet connection and a computer that meets or exceeds the following system requirements:
Windows: PIII 1.8 MHz or higher; Windows OS 2000/SP/Vista; Ram 512MB recommended. Browsers: Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 3.0, Safari 3.0, and Monitor Resolution: 1024x768; Adobe Flash and Adobe Air.
Mac: Power PC © G4 1 GHz or faster processor; Mac OS X 10.3; RAM 512 MB; Browser Safari 1.2.3 or higher; Firefox 3; Monitor Resolution: 1024x768; Adobe Flash and Adobe Air.

Do Printies work on any printer?
Printies Fabric Sheets work with any inkjet printer. Printies should never be used with laser printers as they use heat and different type of inks that will not work with Printies. Please see your printer operating manual if you are unsure of what type of printer you own.

Do Printies Fabric sheets use more ink than paper?
No. Printing a Printies Fabric sheet uses the same amount of ink as printing on regular paper. Plus, we think Printies are much more fun than paper designs.

Where can I find my Printies code?
Each Printies Design Studio includes a code card with your unique code. Each code can only be used one time.

Why do I need to install Adobe Air?
Since Printies works with all brands of inkjet printers, it’s necessary to download and install Adobe Air. This free, small download will ensure that your design prints correctly, no matter what type of printer or computer you have. To learn more about Adobe Air, please visit http://www.adobe.com/products/air/

Is there any charge for the site?
MyPrinties.com is free. To use the online design studio and to post designs to the gallery you must be a registered member. To register, you need a Printies Online Code that is included in any Printies Design Studio product.

How do Printies fabric sheets work?
Printies Fabric Sheets are 100% cotton and work in any inkjet printer. When you are finished with your design, the Print Center will help walk you step by step through the printing process. After you print your design on the front and back of the fabric sheet, you’re ready to stuff and make your Printies come to life!

How can I get more Printies sheets?
Printies Refill packs are available www.PrintiesDesignStudio.info. Each refill pack gives you the materials (Printies Fabric Sheets, shoes, stuffing, sticker sheet and test sheets) to create 3 more large Printies, Each refill pack requires purchase of the corresponding themed Design Studio. To use the Printies Pets Design Studio Refill Pack, you must own or purchase the Printies Pets Design Studio. To use the Ocean Refill Pack, you must own or purchase the Printies Ocean Adventure Design Studio.
To use the Printies Jungle Safari Design Refill Pack, you must own or purchase the Printies Jungle Safari Design Studio.

How can I put photos in my design?
You can upload photos or any jpegs from your personal library into your Printies online account. In the design studio, you can resize, rotate and design your photos for truly customized Printies.

How can I post my design to the Gallery?
Printies members can add any of their designs to the Printies Gallery. In the Gallery, members can see other designs, search for designs by their friends, sort for specific design shapes, gain inspiration and even vote for their favorites.

How can I vote on the designs I see in the Gallery?
Only Printies registered members can vote for designs in the Gallery.
